Which of Oleg's Images Need to Be on Shirts?

honestly, i dont like either one. as pro gun as i am, neither of these are going to make main stream america going to want to accept our cause. they will just think of us as "gun freaks". i like the saying in the second one, but the photo needs to be changed. how many pregnant women are going to be carrying a machine gun? change it to a lady smith, or lcp, then you might have something. sorry, but that is my opinion.

I love the second one of Mater Dei's post. Although it might possible strip the mental gears of some people I know (I say that like it's a BAD thing!:evil::evil:)

The idea -is- to strip the gears of some folks... They're thinking one way, and WHAM, you grab that ol' gearshift... My little sister did that to an Impala back around 1967 or so... That car never was the same...

I pray for new tshirts - I need to shift some gears without the clutch in my neighborhood. Actually, not to hijack the thread, but if anyone knows if any of Oleg's images are actually offered in t-shirt form, please post a link to a site where they are sold on here or PM me. Thanks!

I like a lot of Oleg's posters. In theory, many would be great on tee shirts.

But I don't like to call attention to myself - someone might then look for and find one or more unnatural bulges.

I like these for shirts:

I would avoid the "imagine a world without guns" because the image doesn't convey to me "strong vs. weak." In fact, it conveys "without guns, everyone will be friendly and tradin' fist-bumps."

I realize the approach is intentional, but it takes too much work to put the irony together for a "sight-bite" type image.

I love the one with an Uzi in a toolbox:

Basically any of the ones he did with Uzis (especially the Uzi Classic).

And the Macht Frei ones:

"An Abstract Composition" is beautiful:

The banana one:

Wunderbar!
All of the VT ones:

And I have a personal liking for this little puppy:

And, yes, Oleg, I do save your posters to my computer!

That's one of the images that I really like... The way it's set up draws the well-meaning peace-loving progressive-thinking victim in, and then hits them hard with reality.

I'd also love to see one with the same captioning with the big fist around the small wrist...

My favorite is one that can't be posted on this board, and would probably get you arrested if you wore it in public (assuming anyone got past looking at the rifle she's holding).

It involves an AR-15 and the quote "What are you staring at?"

edit: geekWithA.45 got it right below. Depraved minds think alike.

I get a completely different image from that one. I see the big, strong, powerful fist against which the small one is helpless.

The thing with the "Imagine a World Without Guns" poster is that it has to look non-threatening at first glance. If you show an African machete killing spree, then it doesn't capture the anti's attention like a more docile, but still thought-provoking image like the one Oleg used.
Now, I wouldn't have used the image Oleg used, either, but it fits better with the goal of the image than something blatantly pro-gun.

Well - not one of Oleg's current posters - I would like to have a t-shirt with something like the following picture, with the caption:

"Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it"

Oh, I realize it was intentional, it just didn't work for me. However, figuring the lower text more strongly might be all it took. Or condensing it to something like

"Imagine a world without guns...

...where the strong rule the weak and women belong to men for safety.

Is that what you want?"

Anyway, it's a good poster - the biggest problem I have with it is that I don't feel any real threat in the image, even with the explanatory text.

I'll make that poster with a bloody sword picture...better yet, an ax which can be either military or civilian in uses.
