Which SHTF Scenario is most likely to happen first?

I'd like to know which SHTF scenario people feel is most likely to happen first. This meaning a scenario where gun owners will actually have to use their weapons against other people. Also keep it limited to SHTF in the USA. Fighting in other countries that you participate in doesn't count here.

Either a disturbing social event, like the Rodney King beating, or a man made catastrophe (nucleur bomb, poison gas, chemical plant explosion), or a natural event (fire, earthquake, hurricane). When the lights go out, the gas pumps dry out, and the stores run dry, the predators will be coming out of the woodwork and try and take what they think is theirs to take. Our duty as legal gunowners will be to stop them from preying upon us, our neighbors, stores and communities, because the police will be nowhere to be found, and the national guard will take a week to show up.
