I can get a 50% discount on any Sig that I want. I already have two 226's & don't care for the d/a to s/a at all. I don't need a ccw weapon, just another "house" gun. Any help would be appreciated.

My p320 is a nice shooter in 9mm. But it's the only sig I own and I won it at a DU banquet.
They're giving away guns at Democratic Underground banquets? Just kidding. I know it's Ducks Unlimited.

You might consider the army M17, which is a subtype of the P320. It seems that the manual safety would be a useful addition.

220, 226, 229 are the models I have in different variants. I doubt I ever buy anything but more da/sa sigs. I don't care for sao or dak variants but many people love them. Might look at those in the models I listed. I wont buy a striker fired sig unless they do something pretty special someday. I've not been impressed yet.

If you have two DA/SA SIG P226s and don't care for the DA/SA trigger design, I would be inclined to sell one of them and buy either a Legion P226 or Legion P229 in SAO.

I have sig 226s and 229 in sa/da and dak. If you do not like the sa/da I would not be any help. As I think it is one of the finest all around setups for semi auto handguns. Good luck with your choice.

I've got a few Sig pistols including a P220, P239 .40, P229 .40, P224 .357/.40.

But my favorite is the 1911 STX, with the magwell removed and a set of Hogue G10 micarta grip panels.

Even with it being inspiration instead of an authentic re-issue, I think near the top of the list has to be the 210.

Seriously top of my list when I have the funding and can find one is the 551-A1. Pretty close to the actual 551 rifle for thousands less than an old school import. Do not like the gheyed up ones with AR stocks, magwells, rails everywhere.

What ARE the limits? Cause they also do optics, and at 50% off, that might be worth it instead of another mouth to feed.

That’s my vote.

Of course 50% off would be a great way to get into an X Five or Six, or an MPX or MCX.

I think the P210 still gets my vote though.

Good point, I had been eying on of those itty bitty .300 BLK pistols, the Rattler or whatever as a closet HD option.

Totally agree on the mosquito malfunction drills. Ha ha I bought one of those years ago for my wife.

The new M-17 is now available in the same configuration issued to the military.

One thing that bothered me was that the shade of Flat Dark Earth on the slide didn't match the shade of the grip module (as you can see in the picture above). So I got an all-black one (same price as the FDE) and an extra FDE grip module (about $49 delivered). The result was a very handsome 2-tone gun. Incidentally, Sig Sauer has a $50 rebate deal going on right now. You get a $50 credit for merchandise purchased at their Web store.

Worth noting is that the commercial M17's come in versions with and without the manual safety. (The army one is with a manual safety.) Also, some of the M17's come with 2 magazines in the box, and some with 3. (Mine came with two 17-rounders and one 21-rounder.) This difference is significant, since the lowest price for a new factory magazine that I could find online was about $40 delivered.

I noticed at the last couple of gun shows that prices of M17's seemed to be dropping. You could get one for under $600 when the list price is something like $768.
