I actually ordered one Wednesday of last week from a local shop and it came in Friday. I wanted the version with a safety, I already have Glocks without safety and wanted something different. I was really tempted to buy a 320 earlier, but wanted to hold out for the same version as military issue.. Unfortunately the gun store that ordered it for me made a mistake and the one that came in was without the safety. The correct one should be delivered Monday or Tuesday.

I paid $635 OTD, so that works out to about $590 before tax. I won;t know for sure until it arrives, but I think it will come with two 17 round mags. DIdn't know about the rebate, but will check that out.

50% OFF? P210 no question about it. Don't like it? Sell it for a profit.

If you've got a 50% off coupon, you'd best use it on something really nice. You could get a Sig P365, but that'd only save you $250.

Or you could get a Sig P210, MCX Virtus, or MPX, and save more than $750.

I couldn't take it. Been wanting this gun for like three years. I just ordered one identical to this off of Gunbroker.com. If you want something a little different, the P220 in 10mm is a real peach to shoot. Mostly because it's over 40oz loaded.

Picture is from SWAT Magazine. Want to give credit where credit is due.

It'll make a nice compliment to my other P220 10mm auto.

I think I got one of the only mosquitoes that does function. Ive had 4 others come to me that are worthless. Lol.

I love the look of those wood grips on that stainless sig. I just end up replacing them with ugly hogue that I shoot better with. Same with 1911s. Same with smith revolvers. I have all my factory grips in the factory boxes in storages. Everything from old smith grips to pretty wood beretta grips to a set of factory rattlesnake grips from a colt 1911.

These are the two Sigs I picked up so far this year. Love both of them.

I jumped on the Bandwagon for the M17. The gun is large, and the color combinations remind me of a baby diaper. But, it is without a doubt the most accurate and easy shooting 9mm I've owned. Fun on the range but for carrying, good luck! jagsretry.jpg

If that 50% discount is across the board I would definitely consider a P210 as this would be the closest I would ever get to having one!

A P220 .45 Legion in SAO would also be nice or else something in a 1911, like the Stainless Super Target, Match Elite Stainless, or an STX.

Another vote for the P226 Legion SAO. Feel like a totally different gun when compared to the DA/SA version. I have a buddy that has the DA/SA P226 Legion, and I hate to tell him that I don't care for it.

I just got an alert from a like on this thread. On Feb. 19 I said I wouldn't buy a striker fired Sig. I have since bought a 45 and 40 320. So circumstances do change. I'm still not terribly impressed but they were 300 bucks factory refurbished and I think that is a fair price. I still say a Da/Sa sig is the only way to go

Another vote for p210. Very different from the rest of the P series, and an absolute bargain at half-off. If you don't like it pretty much guaranteed to turn it for more than you have in it.

I bought a P226 Stainless Elite a couple months back, so pretty. If I was to have a half off deal, I would probably grab a P220 SSE before they are gone. I saw a couple out there when I was looking for my P226. The P229 SSE's don't seem to be available new anymore. So sad that Sig stopped making SS framed guns.

The frame on the 10mm P220's are stainless if you are looking to pick up a 10. Though I believe the Legion version is still aluminum.

Like other posters stated, if it is truly 50% off, I would go high end. Not waste it on a 320 or 365 because in a couple of years 320's will be cheaper than Glocks. I'd get a Sig p220 in 10mm or the 210 maybe.

I second that motion, a Sig P210. One of the best target pistols that I have ever shot.

Thanks, but I'm not much into the target type guns, about as close as I will ever get is one of the Tanfoglio Stock or a similar CZ gun eventually. I like full sized duty type guns or pretty small single stacks. Those I like in polymer as they are cheap and I don't care if it looks like crap a year down the road, and if carried, they usually do look bad. I have a lot of all steel guns, mostly CZ clones and S&W 3rd gen. I'm getting very close to the end of buying guns, as I haven't shot several of the last ones I've bought and I would guess I'm about a half dozen total from the end, including rifles.

The Sig Sauer P229 Legion is a wonderful handgun. If you can find one in .40 S&W, buy a .357 Sig barrel for it. The 9mm is also great. A compact great shooter, night sights, steel frame, ceracote, totally reliable, three great calibers. If you want to add an optical sight, a Romeo slide is available too.
