Which upgrade first?

I got a Savage 93r17 and noticed that the bottom metal is really thin and flimsy- I found much thicker upgraded metal for around 40 bucks.

I also found a 2-pack of 10rd .17HMR magazines for the same price.

I really can't decide which one I should get first... I can't get both, don't have the extra cash.

Opinions?

An Acraglas Gel kit from Brownell's is another possibility that I'm considering... Bedding can't hurt.

not sure anyone but you could answer that question. for me, i'd get magazines. i'd only replace the DBM or bed it if i was trying to fix an accuracy issue

Of the two - definitely the mags. But then I try to talk most folk outa modifying a firearm until well after being broken in anyhow.

If it shoots good, I wouldn't mess with it. It may never be the same
