How old is everyone?I can't speak for everyone, but I'm in my mid 30s. ;)

What kind of job do you have?Depends on who you ask. I think I have a great job where I help people, by investigating crimes, and arresting criminals. Some around here think I have a lousy job, and am a "jack booted thug." Differences in perspective I guess. ;)

Married/single/family?Single.

I'm married and on the slippery side of 50. I have 25 yrs and counting-down in state government, the kids are grown and out. I live in a "nice" house in a "nice" suburb that I can't wait to escape from, because we have a good number of wild wooded acres in the Ozarks and a small cabin that I can't wait to retire and escape to.

27-year-old male (28 in March)

Public Safety Supervisor for two shopping malls (one of them having the largest Bass Pro Shops in the United States and the best Public Safety Department -IMO- in the state)

Single, but have a girlfriend living with me.

I am a gun nut.
I work with a whole bunch of gun nuts.
Also a car nut as well (custom sport-compacts, working on a 2000 Ford ZX2 right now and maybe a 2001 Honda Civic EX in the near future).

54, married 20 years to the same wonderful woman. Have a 13 year old daughter. Personal injury lawyer, yes people hate us until they need us and no I have never sued McDonalds for making someone fat.

I'm 47,1 car,2 grown kids, divorced, with the gretest gal in the world for my girlfriend, and very close to being debt-free,other than utility bills.Life is grand.

Well, I will be 58 in March 2005 and a retired LEO who now works PT in the

(Luck Man, Soul Sister, and Doogie); along with one fat siamese cat "Chunky
Monk". Oops~! I forgot the inside landshark "Boo-Boo", a blonde Shi-Tzu

in the world. Since 1970, I have owned approximately 150 firearms of one
kind 'or another.

Hobbies- SEC football, and minor league baseball fan. Shooter, Handloader (handgun calibers only). Playing with my grand child, Kaylee who is now 4

1 wife
1 son (11)
1 coondog that won't hunt

All in all......it's good.

Lots of young people here, thats a good thing. Myself, I'm 51 twice divorced one son one girlfriend. I'm a pharma rep and have accumulated guns over the last 25 years, most of them inventory left over from FFL days ('82-'95). I make good money and am debt free so I can afford more guns than I need. Lately S&W pre-lock revolvers. Joe

A lot has changed in 14 months...

From November 16, 2003
Age: 38
Marital Status: In the midst of a divorce
Job: Corporate Whore (when the divorce is over, I'll quit)
Kids: None
Pets: None
Guns: Lots
Now I'm pushing 40, single (i.e. divorced), quit my corporate job and I'm self-employed. I moved from the East coast to the West coast, still don't have any kids or pets, but the pets thing could change. Mid-life crises? Well, if it was, it's over now.

50 years old and married for 10 years to the best thing that ever happened to me. One stepson who makes me more proud than anything I've ever accomplished.

Practiced corporate and telecommunications law in-house for 20 years. Retired 6 years ago to get off the roller coaster and buy a farm. Starting a new law practice, specializing in commercial mediation and, maybe, a little 2nd Amendment work and equine law.

Been a shooter for over 40 years. Used to hunt a lot but now mostly trap and pistol shooting. CCP gun is a Kimber .45.

Guess I'd better add my stats.

Age 38, soon to be 39.
Occupation, marine biologist. I work in a private consultancy practice so I get paid more than most in my field.
Married for 5 years.

2 border collies, 2 cats, 2 cows, 2.5 acres of rural land.

Oh and BTW, I live in New Zealand (which ISN'T part of Australia).

Good to meetcha!

Am 30-ish, have worked for a county agency for 13 years which has led to a 'clerk' type opportunity with a local constable's office...you have no idea the amount of entertainment I get entering their stats! Single, and presently owned by 2 dogs and 1 elderly snot-blowing cat. Am newbie owner...just recently inherited a CA .38 sp. Received my CHL just in time for Christmas and looking forward to starting my own collection.

Tass (nick provided by my late father...he used to put "Smar" in front) ;)

21 y/o WM married to (surprise surprise) MrsBalog for going on 2 years. No kids yet. Yet. ;) What can I say, I came from a big family and we both want to have one of our own.
Recently enlisted Marine grunt now attending Infantry Training Battalion at the School of Infantry, Camp Pendleton, CA. Looking forward to the killing BG's aspect of being deployed, dreading the being away from my wife aspect. Oh well, it wouldn't be much of a service to my country if it didn't involve some sacrifice.
Dedicatedly non-denominational Christian of the Protestant variety. Politically a combination of a small "r" republican and a small "l' libertarian.
Not nearly enough guns or money to buy them, but that should change after I get deployed a time or two. A good carry pistol for her then me are at the top of the list, then a reloading setup so we can afford to do lots and lots of training, then... well, let's just say the list goes on for rather a long ways :)

Ultimate goals are running my own business in a very rural environment while having enough money to feed and house a large family. Ideally I'll achieve this by claiming the multi-million $ reward for fragging Osama :) , but if not I'll figure something out. The wife wants to be a RN/mid-wife, and I couldn't be more supportive. There are three or four different career options I'll be looking into pursuing, assuming I get out of the Corps prior to putting in 20. I'm looking forward to seeing which one happens. :) God bless the TAP, MGIB, and any other free schooling the fed.gov wants to throw my way.

47 Married to an anti with one boy.
Executive Chef
Pistols and rifles
Two cats
Can't wait till my little guy is big enough to shoot

This is so cool, I love reading about other people, it makes this whole thing so much more personal. As for myself...I'm 52, been married for 31 years, and yes, she's still HOT. 2 grown daughters, the oldest is 25 and a science/biology nut, she's working in a lab, assisting a couple of Ph.D's with research, the other is 21 and getting married in CA this March. 1 cat, Greyson...he's my buddy.

I've been working as a television/video/broadcasting engineer for the last 30+ years, lived in various places around the country. I freelanced for awhile, working on network TV trucks as video operator and maintenance engineer. I worked the '96 Atlanta Olympics, but in Savannah, for the yachting comptetion, which was broadcast by New Zealand TV.

As for guns...I started collecting handguns in '73...seems like I started a lot of things about that time...now, I've got about 30 in my safe, plus about 5 long guns, mostly inherited. Bought my last pistol...a Beretta 92 stainless, about 6 years ago, though. If it weren't for that silly "permit to purchase" we have in MO, I'd probably buy a .40 CZ75. I just don't want to have to put up with it. I started reloading in 1976, and I haven't bought more than 10 boxes of factory ammo since then. I reload pretty much everything from .380 to .44 Mag. It's a hobby unto itself.

Oh...most important of all, born again Christian. It's a long story, but the results are real, and the blessings are many. Best to everyone!

I'm a 57 year old white, Christian male, married 29 years to the most beautiful and intelligent woman in the world. We have two sons in college, one in engineering and one in education. Currently employement is as a Plant Manager for a large manufacturing company. I am an independent conservative and avid blog reader. Because I excersize regularly, I am in excellent physical shape and, God willing, I will remain so.

I am an army vet which is where I first really became interested in various firearms. In the past I was involved in skeet and bullseye pistol shooting. Lately it has been 3-gun and soon, if I can manage the time, would like to get involved in IDPA. Currently have a concealed carry permit. Purchased six firearms in the past year but I don't have interest in any unless I can get a Sig 550 carbine. I plan to upgrade optics this year and get more training if I can fit it in.

Other hobbies include bicycling, woodworking and antique tool collecting (where most of my extra money goes).

As they have said, life is good.
