closing on 25, have a wife and 10 month old boy who already has his own Victorinox with 4 inch blade (and with blade lock, of course).

Active in Material Sciences and a member of local National Guard-like organization (thus the fully-live assault rifle in closet, loaded of course (must be the european thing) - HK G36K/AG36). YEah if I care to fetch it and make a little walk then there an AT-4 handy for very serious encouters (mostly it's appearance should do the trick)

Gosh, I coulda swore I posted on this thread a couple years ago. I guess not.

I just turned 62 and am chomping at the bit to begin feeding at the public trough of SS.

So, you young fecund critters need to keep up the kid production to pay for my "fixed income" so I can buy more firearms. I like Beretta's, have 3, had more. Have a Walther p99, a Smith wheelie in .22 as well as a bunch of long guns of various parentage, caliber and gauge. I used to hunt a lot when younger, but got away from it. Probably do a bit more when I retire, probably Turkeys.

Been married to the same lady for nearly 40 years. We live on a fairly large lake that I am looking out over at the moment while I type. The area of Michigan where I live is dotted with lakes, a couple of rivers, many streams, oak barrens, piney woods, meadows and even a couple of ancient prairies. Two sons, 37 and 35. Two grandsons, 15 and 13. I'll be retiring from the insurance industry soon after 38 years. Before that I was a leo for nearly 7 years. I've been enjoying reading and posting at THR since the beginning; TFL before that and again now that it's back. TAC before that. I like APS as well because of the variety of topics and the sparring that goes on. More of you ought to join us over there from time to time.

I talk too much, am opinionated, sometimes grumpy and have a great sense of humor. Cantcha tell?

Well, now I'm 36, and the kids are older, and the dog is older, but I have the same old car and the same job and not much else is new. I'm still waging war against anti-gunners and growing tomatoes and loving life.

Now, I'm 37, the dog is 6, the van now has 216,000 miles and the kids are *both* taller than I am!

Other than that, mostly the same stuff, except my oldest leaves for boot camp in two weeks and I'm missing him already.

I shoot IPSC & IDPA four times a month and still run with the youngsters, just not quite as fast as before. I have owned just about every 1911 model out there, including the very high priced ones, but went over to the dark side a couple of years ago (Glocks). Please do not tell my father.

I don't have unlimited means;as a mattetr of fact I only recentgly re-acquired my LTC here in Ma.Only firearms I have are a couple of SKS's and a 10-22 that mysteriously returned home when I got out from under the Ch180 BS here in this state(MAN! that was some work).
I'm an ex-soldier;I work in security.Currently supervise a shift at a community college.Nothing special,but it pays the bills (for now).As I'm able,i'll try and get what I can for sidearms.Tiough thing,because many of my preferences are not on the state AG's"approved firearms roster".SO I can't re-acquire any CZ's,Makarov's or anything else like I used to unless I can find pistols and magazines here before the '98 state ban went into effect.
And,no ;I don't ever recall going on about all of my 'unliited means and wonderous toys".Who knows what will happen next,though?

As a student, i am totally broke, and most of my guns were actually inherited and/or gifts (I got a Browing A-5 for my birthday... how sweet is that?)

It sucks being back in school, as i obviously can't keep my guns on campus, which means no shooting for me during the semester.
