Well, a full-auto is the only configuration in which an AR-15 is legal in California (yeah, figure that one out. If you ever convert it to semi-only, you're an instant felon.)

I don't have one yet, and from what I have been told, though CA is 'may issue' for state MG permits, they don't issue often. We'll see.
