I has a sneaking suspicion the wife might have gotten me a gun for Christmas this year but I was very surprised at what she got. She bought a S&W 5906 made in 1989. It is like new in the box. A friend of ours bought it 20 years ago to use when he was on the police force and his department switched to Glocks so he never carried it. He said me may not have even fired it. I can tell one of the magazines has been loaded but there are no signs the gun has been fired. It is in factory new condition. She did good.

My wife got me a Mosin Nagant for Christmas this year. Times have been a bit rough and we have been cutting back on our spending so she picked up a 91/30 from AIM. I love it and can't wait to shoot it this Friday.

Man I was surprised to get a Glock 33 round happy stick and mag extension for my Rem 870. It's great when we can get gun stuff for Christmas. Oh and my brother bought me some tannerite. What a blast.

wife gave me 100 bucks for a gun, her grand parents gave me 100 her parents gave me 30 and my parents gave me 30......a gun in the making me thinks.

Non-gun related, but mine got me a Tempur-Pedic pillow - it has a hump that goes under your neck (you're supposed to sleep on your back) and is made of firm foam that molds to your head and neck. It was a little uncomfortable for the first 3 nights as I got used to it, but even that first night, my wife says I didn't snore for the first time since she's known me. Also, I used to grind my teeth and had to sleep with a mouth guard, but I also stopped doing that! I still go to bed and get up at the same time, but I feel like i'm getting a couple of extra hours sleep since i don't wake myself up several times a night. They seem expensive (close to $100), but my wife thinks it's the best $$$ she's ever spent!

My wife didnt get me a gun for Christmas, but she did get me a LED flat screen TV for my workshop. Als as stocking stuffers she got me a nice holster and a set of Five Star speedloaders for my Security Six.

After a couple of weeks of suspense, my wife gave me a Christmas card on the Friday before Christmas. It had the biopsy result from a breast lump she had found. Negative. I hadn't cried in years.

That's a good reason to change that. Happy to hear she's well.

I got a nice G-Shock watch I've had my eyes on. :)

I took my 5906 to the range today. I had the a few jams on the first mag but it was perfect after that. I think it needed a few break in shots. I think the mag springs feel a little weak too. I'll probably replace them. It's a great shooter, super low recoil and accurate. Its a keeper.

My wife gave me the 'thumbs up' to get an AR...and some cash to help me do so.

So yes, sounds about right

My wife bought me a toaster oven, a nice big Black and Decker. Most of ya'll probably don't understand why I'd be excited, but I've been talking about getting one since we got married 3 and half years ago, and there was never an extra $45 to drop on an extra appliance. (Or I spent the $$$ on ammo...)

I'm tickled pink to be able to toast english muffins in the mornings again.

My wife totally surprised me Christmas morning. We had found this in a small shop during the summer and I couldn't get it so I relegated it to my short list. I had no idea she got it. I will present a range report tomorrow evening.

My wife did - a big ol' gift certificate to a great restaurant and never a word about how many guns I buy. She does occasionally mention all the ammo that gets dropped off by UPS, though...:D

It wasnt on christmas exactly but my wife gave me the go-ahead to spend approx $1100 for whatever gun(s) i want in january.I really wasnt expecting her to let me spend that kind of money.Ive been having fun trying to decide what i want.

She did say that it was my christmas present:)

I had a great ultrasonic cleaner on my wish list. I have a small one now, which works well, but has no volume.

I got a recliner instead. Maybe she thinks I spend too much time in my reloading room. Maybe I'll rebuild the top of my bench so that it will work down there. I may have to put some casters under it for mobility.
