There is a third possibility and one that I think is most likely true.
All the RP supporters are really HRC/Osama supporters trying to persuade Republican voters into backing someone who cannot win in the general election.
They publicly support RP but when they go into the voting booth, they pull the straight Democrat lever.
The same guy that voted for the McCain-Feingold campaign finance bill?Thompson gets my vote in the primaries.
The same guy that voted for the McCain-Feingold campaign finance bill?
The same guy who thinks that we were right to invade Iraq?
The same guy who wants to legislate what you do in the bedroom?
The same guy that voted to continue affirmative action?
The same guy, who according to Gun Owner's of America, voted fourteen times for anti-gun legislation?
The same guy that in 1997 voted to grant amnesty to one million illegal aliens from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Haiti?
I won't speak for the "Guys".So what you guys are saying is : If it comes down to Hillary vs Thompson or Obama vs Thompson, you will sit out the election and give the white house to Hillary/Obama? What a brilliant plan.
No he won't. If he gets the nomination he won't win the general election for exactly these same reasons.Fred Thompson will be a continuation of Bush policies in almost all areas.
Word has it Little Bush is going to blow someone to pieces, get us into ANOTHER looser of a war, declare Marshall Law, cancel the election and keep on truckin'.... This is going to be fun.
Reply:Sorta depends on who the nominees are, doesn't it?
The question is "who are you going to vote for?" not "who do you support." I am assuming the question is referring to the general election. The only ticket I absolutely won't vote for is Clinton/Obama. I'm not going to sit it out and help that ticket from hell win.Yes, we are supposed to sit back and wait till those are decided for us.
When the electable candidates are approved they will let you know who to vote for.
