Does anyone know a reputable seller who has Saiga rifles currently in stock? In stock this month (September 07)? I'm mainly looking at .308 and .223 versions. Also, does anyone know who has .308 20-round mags in stock as well?

Thanks much. :)

His website says 30-60 day delivery time though for standard Saigas. I sent him an email and would love to buy from him, so I'll wait to see what he says. I would love to get a .223 Tromix, especially at the prices he has advertised. After all my researching on .223 AK variants, the Tromix .223s seem to be the only ones that are reliable as AKs should be, aren't rare as hen's teeth, and do well with regular mags.

I have .308 and 5.56 in stock ready to go. Tromix and regular.

We're the people that build the 20 round .308 mags. We've had some trouble getting US made followers, so we fell behind. So we went ahead and ordered another 2,000 followers from the Russians. As soon as those arrive, we will fill all of the pending backorders for magazines, and have some left over to sell.

Watch gunbroker though, they sell some of them with the Saiga'd up 30 round surefire magazines... I would stay away from those... I wouldn't want to be the guy that the BATFE busted for 922r violations... Keep it safe!

Thanks Correia, it was nice talking to you. I'm glad you have the Tromix in stock still.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. I got one from Correia because he luckily had exactly what I wanted in stock, a Tromix .223 Saiga. I picked it up today. I'm quite happy with it thus far. I installed an Ultimak picatinny rail and Burris 2x20mm LER scope after WECSOGing the handguard a little so the rail would fit. I'll be getting some ammo and more mags from UPS tomorrow, so I'll go try her out at the range then. Thanks very much Correia, it was a pleasure doing business with you.

Here is my new baby (Tromix Saiga) with a complete write up, including my thoughts that lead to this rifle in its current configuration, as well as my opinions of the Saiga itself after the purchase. Lots of picture-goodness included. She's definitely a keeper.

If anyone has any suggestions about a good sling for this rifle, let me know. Thanks. :)
