Who is using a new load for deer season?

Tried a 130 gr barnes ttsx over 62gr of big game with a federal large rifle match primer in new Norma cases . Shoot a nice doe Saturday opener in PA worked great

I'm interested to know the cartridge you used. I've got a pack of .308 130 grain bullets in the mail and am super excited to try them out.

Report back when you get a deer. I'm curious how well the Whitetail line of ammo works. I imagine it'll work like any other cup and core. It probably makes up half of the stock of hunting ammo in my area.

Got one this Am. Estimate a 3 year old Fl doe, 45 yards, double lung shot. Waited 15 minutes after shot, found her after a 75 yard track- about 25 yards longer than I typically had to follow one before when using power points. Internal damage was typical, blood trail was not the greatest but not an issue when it came to finding her. Lungs were shredded, entire chest cavity full of blood. I will continue using them.

Seems normal for a 100 gr 243.
