Who makes a 22/22mag revolver......

Hertiage "Rough Rider" is a .22Lr/.22Mag SA 'convertible'.

Probably others, too

Taurus makes double action 22lr/22mag revolvers with two cylinders. I have no experience with them and have no idea how complicated it is to swap cylinders. Pictures of them show the extra cylinder with the crane attached. The Ruger's cylinder can be swapped in about 15 seconds.

My boy just got the heritage. Pretty nice gun for under $200. Seems to be put together well and accurate to boot.

S&W has sold the 651 and 48 as convertibles in the past. I saw a convertible 651 for sale not long ago, not sure where though. I think the asking price was quite steep $600 or $650.

Uberti builds the 6-shot Stallion in a convertible model, which is close to the size of a Single Six or Frontier Scout.

You don't state what your budget is but USFA also builds .22 convertibles. Though it's a full size SAA and not cheap.

Budget........not cheap, but not expensive........

Looking for something for my 15 year old some to shoot with around the farm. Something good enough that he can still shoot 50 years down the road.

He enjoys his CZ 22 and Marlin 22 mag. Was trying to keep it "ammo simple".

The Taurus 992 Tracker has 2 cylinders, each complete with crane, and a push-button release above the trigger guard that lets you swap them out quickly. Looks interesting, but it's a heavy sucker and, well, it's a Taurus.

That's gonna be a Ruger Single Six no matter how you look at it.

You're in luck, there are a lot of 'em out there that people are selling!

Ruger makes a single six convertable that has .22lr and .22mag cylinders. I own two heritage arms rough riders with the two cylinders and just recently purchased a Taurus 992 double action with two cylinders. Cylinder change is easy - just a push button to swap cylinders. The Taurus is a bit heavy but has adjustable sights and is very accurate.
