The CM45 has been my Every Day Carry for 3 years now. Its a great little pistol. I had one stoppage around round 50 or so during the recommended break in. I have never had a failure since in over 900 rounds. Reports are they can be finicky with anything but a round nosed type bullet, so I carry Remington Golden Saber 185 +P in mine. Use the slide stop lever to chamber a round from a loaded magazine, instead of the "slingshot" method. I have had mine fail to chamber when slingshotting, and Kahr recommends using the slide stop to charge the pistol. Shoot the recommended 200 round break in. Use gloves because its pretty stout being small, and light.

I really like mine. I like the trigger, and the size. I carry mine with the 6 round extended mag, and the 7 round extended as a backup. 1911 mags also work in the Kahr 45s

The CW line of pistols are probably one of the most underrated pistols around. I have 3 CW9's and a CM9, they are my EDC pistols and have been 100% reliable, even during break-in (of the 3 pistols that I bought new.) I saw a NIB CW45 at the last gunshow I was at... at $319 I almost bought it.

I like the .45 versions of the Kahr... I had a P45, the upscale version of the CW45. It was a very accurate pistol and I didn't think recoil was that big of an issue... sort of like an alloy 1911 in comparison. It is slightly bigger than the 9mm version, obviously, and didn't fit my hand as well as the 9, which is why I chose not to carry it.

This CM45 has been my EDC for 5 months or so. Round count to date is 2400, with zero issues. I consider it to be a best buy. As always, YMMV.....

I EDC a Cw45, they are a great value/ The CW is larger than the CM, my CW holds 6+1 and is thin and light. The only downside to the MP is the small size can make for stout recoil.
