"Does any state have a non-resident permit with no fingerprint and/or background check requirement?"

This isn't a serious question, is it?

[edit] never mind, I will ask my question in the Legal section, instead of hijacking this thread.

I realize this is an old thread but figure its better than starting a new one.

I live in MA (yeah I'm sorry too...thx).
I have my MA CCW Class A but for traveling purposes I've been wanting to get the Utah CCW as well.
Based on the most recent verbiage of the Utah application - I don't need my MA CCW since its not a reciprocal state anyways.

But the Utah application requires a Instructors stamp.
I assume I have no choice but to take yet another class here in MA where they offer the Utah CCW training...thereby obtaining the Instructor stamp on my application.

Florida recognizes a Qualification card from IDPA or IPSC also.

You can obtain a G Lic. (Security Officer carry in uniform lic. at 18 years of age)
and when you reach 21, use that license as proof of expertise.

At 77 years of age, my Glock 19 feels as good as my car insurance does, for in case purposes.

Funny....as soon as I leave Illinois in almost any direction, I can carry. As soon as I come "home" I can't. Great state....and now we're trying to drive out people and business with higher taxes.

^^same here^^ ('cept I don't think it's funny...it's not)

I have heard my state (Texas) is trying to close this loophole for TX citizens.

I have heard that for years but I never see any legislation proposed to actually do it.

I keep hearing this from a shooting buddy. I have yet to see it in any of the legislative updates from the NRA, TSRA or any other source.

I hold a VA non-resident permit as getting a TX CHL at the time would have been a huge hassle and expense.

For those of you looking at out of state permits VA and AZ are easy to get. Va accepts an online course as proof of proficiency.
