Why are gun companies based in Anti-states

I have Marlin and Mossberg in my town alone, CT has stag arms amonst many other manfs. The reason why they are in "Anti' gun states I think has alot to do with the history of them being here in gun valley, as well as its location later on to interstate 95 for shipping across the East Coast. Alot of companies however have been exported to other states and countries which is a shame. Last I heard they were going to make a Colt Museum out of the old building, but then I heard appartments, what a joke, this state could benefit so much from tourism if it wernt so concerned with being politically correct with it's actual production and contribution to the firearms industry.

I'm surprised more companies didn't move to non-union friendly states years ago. And just because someone bought the bankrupt Ithaca name doesn't mean that Ithaca, as we knew it 30 years ago, is in business.

as a former mass resident and long time gun owner I have a take on Mass.one cant imagine the number of gun companies that were in Mass NH and VERMONT.the manufacturing plants needed large amount of employees winchester alone at one time had 8000.spring field amory had probable as many.savge was huge made lewis guns and no 4 rifles.
not till the 60s did gun control start.almost all of my friends had pistols we were 13/14 yrs old.high school had rifle club and supplied guns.one of my friends had a jap mg brought back by his brother.he shot it in saugus marsh
police cam took it away and had it welded and gave it back.try that now.I shot against schools colledges and winchester and against national teams.
I have my thery on gun control but of course its not politacly correct.It not about guns its about control.
do you know howmany gun companies there were in the North east.h&r/Iver/forhand&wads/derringer[one of] and the robbins complex in vt.
