Many wre recieving big tax breaks not to leave, but as that is starting to disolve now, you will see a movement to get out of those states in the near future. I asked that same question to a town elder here in FL, and he was explaining how they basically chased a well known company , out of town, by restricting them over and over until they left, the state got better incentives someware else, and took hundreds with them. It's just stupidity.
