Tactical is cool, but, really once you have been and once you hang out with the really bad boys (I was army, I was trained by, worked with, and had friends who were and are SF) You realize that they are just people who have trained themselves to a level that is uncommon in civilian life, and they are supported by a team that allows them to focus on their mission, and many of them sacrifice things like family and even their lives for their mission.
But the first hurdle is a major one, it's the one that separates the wanna-be's from those who are, it's mental toughness, the fortitude to do what needs to be done. Go for a walk, how many will make it 5 miles, how many will make it 10, how many will make it 20? How many people have the will to complete an almost impossible task, like hauling a 3 wheel jeep with flat tires 5 miles?
If you know what it cost emotionally, even in pain, do you really want to be tactical, or do you just wanna be a WANNABE and look Tacki-Kool?
