Why don't any online stores sell the 15 rd value packs?

Just about every time I go to Wal Mart, I find myself buying a couple 15 round Value Packs of Slugs. I haven't seen them at my Wal Mart, but supposedly Remington sells a 15 round value pack of buckshot too. Why don't any online stores sell these packs?

Are you sure they aren't packaged that way speciffically for wal mart?

I've always kinda wondered the same thing. I bought 25 rnds. of S&B 00 buck with my last ammo order, and I got 5 5rnd boxes. And yet the smallest package their rubber buckshot comes in is a 25 rnd box. go figure.

Yep, I think tis is a walmart only item, have seen them in buck and slugs.

I've bought Winchester 00 buckshot in the value packs like that but never slugs. Not that I've ever really looked for them though.

I strongly suspect I got them from Wal-Mart.

frontgate1 Does anyone else get the Federal 550 round .22 value packs Wal-Mart sells besides Wal-Mart? I've never seen them anywhere else but it seems odd that just Wal-Mart would get them so I don't know.
I've seen the Federal Champion value packs but never the ones like Wal-Mart sells.

Bi-Mart - a NorthWest chain (kind of a mini-Walmart) has the Federal 550 .22 Packs and several other bulk packs of .22LR.

Oh ok cool. Are they same the same black and maroon box ones Wal-Mart sells? I've seen the 550 packs of the Federal Champion in the blue box other places but had never seen the blue and maroon ones like at Wal-Mart. Doesn't matter a ton though as my .22 doesn't like the Federals from Wal-Mart anyway. I was just wondering.

By the time shipping charges are added...those 15 round packs would no longer be "value" packs.

I was told the slug value packs are packed for Walley World only.

I hadn't seen the slugs at my WalMart... but just picked up three 15 packs of Winchester buckshot for $9 a pop. They were completely out of all handgun ammo... btw.

Frontgate, Wal-Mart used to sell a 10/22 SS with 20" bbl and laminated stock. It was a WM exclusive. So yes, some guns and some ammo is a Wal-Mart exclusive. When you are as big and rich as they are, you can get mfg's to make things JUST for you.

Methinks that Wallymart gets whatever Wallymart wants and no supplier dares buck against them if they want to do business with Wallymart ever again!!

I have family members that work with Wally and they advise that Wally can get mean with suppliers if they don't get their way.

Yep, for only a couple of dollars more than Walmart. Although last time I was at Walmart they were out of 15 packs and had ten pack Federal's for slightly less than the 15 WWB pack price. Irritating but still cheaper than just about everywhere else.

Hey, as long as it means cheaper ammo, I'm all for it!

Too bad Cabela's only has 15 round value packs of slugs though. If they had buckshot, I'd definitely place an order.

I think what frontgate1 is referring to is factory seconds or lower quality guns being sold at Wal-Mart.

The K-marts in my area are junk stores with bare shelves and do not sell ammo. I'll tell you how bad they are, they don't have a shop lifting problem, even the thieves don't want their junk

Just got a Cabela's sale flyer in the mail. "Estate" brand #00 & #4, 2 3/4", 25 rd box for $17.00 No experience with this brand.

Never used it, I have seen it at Gander Mountain and Dick's. I stockpiled 000, 00,BB and an assortment of slugs when the Obamanation declared his intent to run for office several years ago.

Stores often have special versions of items made, or special packaging done for their distribution only.

I called a local Dick's Sporting Goods the other day and the guy said they don't carry the 15 round boxes and that he thinks it's just a Wal Mart thing. Who knows if he's right though...
