In another thread, someone asked if it was too cold to go shooting. Well, the college was nice enough to give everybody an impromptu day off. Does that mean I have an extra day to go shooting? Unfortunately, no. The local shooting range is in a dry lake bed that isn't so dry right now.
I live in a place where we *see* snow every year (we're at the base of a 10K mountain) but (according to my neighbors) the last time it snowed this much was about 1980. In fact the entire time we've lived here, my daughter has had ONE snow day where they let the kids out early, and it all melted before the kids even got home from school. We had 9.5 measurable inches at 9AM.
Global Warming, y'know.:banghead:
