I saw a deal on Hydroshock .38+P, 129 grain. Something like $12 per box of 50 rounds from Keisler's. What I'm wondering is, why so cheap? I this ammo "factory seconds"? A box of 20 rounds of the same at the gun store is about $15.
I've had the same problem with different sellers.
Well, probably most of them at one time or another.
It's aggravating.
But we have to remember there's many thousands of us bargain hunters looking for a good price on guns and ammo.
We can strip a seller of his "good buy" in minutes.
The last time I found and ordered a couple cases of 9x18, a couple hours later I thought man that's a good price I'll order a couple more cases.
They had already sold out.
They're not really "playing games" with residents of Georgia, rather they are simply in a partnership with local mom 'n' pop stores in order to not drive them out of business.
It is. If Natchez undercuts the local shops then they are FREE to stop buying from Natchez and take their business elsewhere - so Natchez doesn't undercut them. Who buys more volume, the single customer or the storefront? That's the market at work.
What can I say? It's not an unusual situation at all.
I'd really like to buy some 7.62x54R surplus from Kiesler's but they haven't responded to my email asking about shipping. As for Sportsmans Guide I will say that they do run out fast , I recently bought some buckshot during an "in-store special" and I immediately went back to the gun area to ask, bought 5 units, and there were only 4 left after I got mine! they started with 50 units! (They were boxes with 125 rounds of Rem. 'O' buck and a .30 cal. ammo can, for $2.99! ) I am set for SHTF shotgun ammo!
Might be a little higher but they don't play games with you

Um yeah, but if you are a law abiding citizen of Tennessee, Georgia or Alabama they will not do business with you, even if one of their "loyal dealers" are 100 miles away from where you live.
They will never get a dime of my business, even if I move away. Market protectionist hypocrites. By the way if any Natchez's employees are listening, I actively steer people near their dealers to cheaper online ammo sources, been proud to have done so for 2-1/2 years.
