Dave's opponent --Patrick Kreitlow--is a former TV news anchor from the Eau Claire area who has great name recognition. The Democrat party has long tried to take Dave out, and this time they're dumping enormous amounts of money to do so.
If we lose Dave, we lose our most vocal and powerful Senate spokesman for CCW.
The Wisconsin Concealed Carry Movement (WCCM) political action committee has already given Dave the maximum $1000 contribution for the 2006 election cycle. There are other legal ways to get further contributions to his campaign, but we won't be doing those until late July.
