All I'll say is.... I've had 3 Walthers PPKs's and the last one went for a trade to a Bersa and some cash back. Never have looked back...

Bersa feels better, edges aren't as sharp so they don't bite, So far has fed everything I have put in it, unlike the Walthers.... And just generally I like it better. The double action trigger on the bersa is way better than any of the others I've had also. I carry mine almost everyday and never think twice about if I should have kept a Walthers...

I'd like to state that although the Bersa Thunder looks similar to a Walther PPK/S, it's quite different mechanically. The one I have is very nicely made and is an incredible value for the money. It has a better trigger pull than either of my Walthers. That being said, it's not a Walther for half the price. The Walthers are all steel, more refined, and noticeably shorter and slimmer. The Bersa is a quality firearm but I'm not about to go trading any Walthers on one.

IMO, and I know it's more money, but I'd have my wife look at the Walther PPK over the Bersa, if she wanted a .380, and they look pretty similar. I don't know much about the Bersa, but I do know Walther.

Edit: I see Rick mentioned it already, so I second the opinion. For twice the money as the Bersa, you can get the PPK with Crimson grips.
