Will Any J frame holster fit my Ruger sp101?

J-frame holster is too small. I use and recommend an AKJ concealco IWB found here:

The J-frame revolver is smaller then an SP-101, and the SP-101 is slightly smaller then a S&W K-frame. By far it is best to order/buy a holster that is made to fit the gun it's intended for.

My 2.25" SP101 rides quite comfortably in a Kirkpatrick 4100:

It is a J frame holster (stamped J2 on belt side), and the Ruger fits just fine.

My 2 1/4" rides in the Bianchi model 7L pancake, the lined holster has now been discontinued so it would be model 7 or the Bianchi S3 IWB.

MY j frame holsters do not fit the SP101.

Don Hume makes a H721 O.T. for the SP101 that is my favorite.

J frame will not work. Triple K makes a few different holsters for your revolver.

If you want to carry IWB, and happen to find a Tucker Heritage, for a J frame Smith, laying on a shelf like I did, you will find the SP-101 fits like a glove. I have been carrying my 3" SP-101 in my Tucker for almost a year now. I can slide an unloaded gun in the holster and turn it upside down and give it a good shake and the gun stays in the holster but only 3-4 more shakes will release it. Perfect fit!!!
