I just bought one and mounted it on my Marlin. The hole is too big. Do they make a smaller aperture? Also, just sighting down the barrel and trying to align the old buckhorn sight with it, it appears that the new rear sight is too high and there is not enough elevation to move it down more. Anyone else installed one of these???

You can get extra screw-in apertures for the Williams sights - your dealer should have them, or you can order direct from Williams.

As for the height, don't forget that the further back your rear sight is, the higher it will be above line-of-bore in order to get the equivalent to a mid-mounted sight. The line-of-sight extends from the front sight back to the rear sight, typically rising slightly as it gets further back. So, mounting the rear sight further back means that it has to be higher to fit the same line-of-sight as a lower-mounted mid-barrel sight.
