Winchester 9422

Today i purchased a 9422 XTR in 22 Mag and i was just curious about some of the differances between it and some of the other 9422 models. The one i have has a straight stock over the one with a pistol grip. Is this more or less common? Also it has a steel reciever. I always thought they where an aluminum reciever. Are the mags steel and the long rifles aluminum or am i just wrong all together? Thanks fellas.

The straight stock is more common, and all 9422's are steel.

Yes they will.
My buddy uses a 9422 magnum for hunting squirrels and has been doing so for over twenty years with the same rifle.
Never once has he felt he needs another rifle.
