Winchester Black Talons

I have a great idea !!!

Since the name "Black Talon" was considered for many reasons offensive and dangerous I propose the following;

Identical balistics, slightly dyed with a pinkish tinge, and call them "Lady Fingers"

I can see the anti's now complain about the "cop killer Lady fingers"

I bought 100 rounds of police buy-back 9mm 147-gr Black Talons from (of all people) Cabelas two years ago for the unbelieveable price of something like $8.99 per 50.

I have shot several of them into a test block of 4-layer denim plus 25-pounds of clay and finally trapped in water jugs. The expansion is impressive and they drove thru the clay plus two jugs and split the back of the 2nd jug. This was thru a full-length chrome lined polyagonal barrel (an UZI Eagle).

Durn, they expanded incredibly well and those petal points looked impressive. They average .600" or so.

BTW, the original Black Talon had six petals, and the newer SXTs have eight (but they aren't as thick and don't hold as wide open).

Still have 85 of the original 100. I believe they would make a good wintertime carry/self defense load thru a 4.5" or longer barrel.
