So I bought a Yugo SKS yesterday, along with 5 boxes of Wolf and 5 boxes WWB.
Well, in doing the usual post buy research, I see a warning that thin primer US made "hunting" ammo is more susceptible to slam fires.
Any opnion on this? I suppose I could just fire the WWB one at a time, after all with a new rifle I have lots to learn. I hear the berdan primer on the Wolf is more stout.
Unrealted, but am having a devil of a time unfolding the $%^^& bayonet.
Blasted it with GunScrubber and WD40 a buncha times to loosen the cosmo that might be sticking, but no luck. Is there some release somewhere I am missing?
I know its spring loaded but it is stuck fast....
