First, let me say hi everyone, Im new to the forums,just joined today. My ? is does anybody know of a company that makes a scout style scope mount for an octagon barreled 94. I know XS makes one for a round barrel but they said it will not work on the octagon barrel model. Any information will be much appretiated, THANKS and hope to get to know everyone in time

Any competent gunsmith should be able to modify the base from round to octagonal. You'd probably need some scew holes tapped by a smith, anyway.

Here's another possibility. Inexpensive, but gunsmith suggested. No personal experience.
