Wolf 154g gas problem?

See the 7.62 X 39 Wolf with 154 SP. Is there any function problems with AK or SKS? Seems the gas would differ from the normal 122g.

I don't know what would really change between those two bullet weights, but I do know the AK pattern rifles have a gas piston thats about 2x as big as it needs to be. I doubt you'll see any function problems.
Don't own an SKS, but if the Ruskies are good at anything, its building a reliable firearm. I'd imagine it will run just fine too.

i use the 154gr sp's in ny sks and ak, as a matter o fact they are the most accurate load i have shot out of my ak. i have never had any problems of any kind using the 154gr ammo, in the sks or ak!

While the total volume of gas is slightly less with the 154 grain bullet due to the powder charge weighing 2 grains less. The peak gas pressure remains the same for the 154 grain and 122 grain bullets. Firearms don't depend on the volume of gas to function but the peak gas pressure hitting the gas piston as the bullet passes the gas port going down the barrel.
So any firearm that will function with ammo with a 122 grain bullet will function with ammo with a 154 grain bullet.

My SA M-7S (Bulgarian AK clone by Arsenal, Inc.) loves Wolf 154g SP. It cycles great and is quite accurate for cheap ammo.

They function well in my SKS, Saiga, and Mini 30. No problems at all.
