Hi All
I know that there have been issues with some of the Wolf SP primers. Anyone had issues with there LP primers? I just ran out of my stock and the only thing I had left in the locker was some Wolf ones that I got back in the shortage of 08/09. Going to use them for range ammo so no biggie either way.

Thanks
WB

I have used three different lot #'s of Wolf LP primers and no failure to ignite.

I would not hesitate to buy and use Wolf or Tula LP primers.

Only thing is the cup diameter is slightly larger than Winchester/CCI primer cups and makes seating harder but many reloaders see that as a plus when using them in cases with looser primer pockets. :D

I shot some Wolf primers in my handguns and found the velocities were a bit less. That is good as you can use the same loads developed with WLP or CCI.

I have used a few thousand Wolf LPPs this year and only had 1 that failed. Can't beat the price and they work great. The only thing I notice is that they are a little (very little) tighter fit when seating the primer. This isn't always bad since I can definitely tell if a Primer didn't get picked up from the tube since the difference in resistance in the seating motion is noticeable.

Like them a lot more now that I load them on a LNL AP instead of the Lee Turret - the LCT doesn't have the leverage of the LNL, and seating Wolfs on it would often leave them high.
