Wolf SRM and SR 223

Greetings,

Am I the only one who saw that there is almost no difference between Wolf Small Rifle Magnum and Wolf Small Rifle 223 primers (except the dye and the color of the plastic box)?

I used both of them with 23 grains of WC844 in 223 cases and there is no difference in velocity or accuracy in 3 of my AR type rifles..

Anyone have seen otherwise?

I had pierced primers in .223 in an AR when using the regular Wolf Small Rifle primers with quite mild loads.

Wolf Small Rifle Magnums perform very well for me with hot High Power loads.

It is my understanding that the priming compound is the same but the Magnums have a thicker cup.
