This is the sort of stuff that national news either ignores or tries to cover up. The fact is that millions of people a year successfully defend themselves with guns. But oh, a criminal using a gun fits much more into their anti-gun agenda and has front and center stage. Even though what it really highlights is the need for more law abiding citizens to carry.

Haha jonmerrit I saw that lol, WOW use your mother as a gettaway driver how much more of a mommas boy can you be? We had an incident like this in Abilene where a guy broke in the front door and this lady in her 50s hot him in the leg with a .357, he went down lol, I think it's a good idea for women to carry I don't thinks it's a good idea for them to carry and not load it or just carry it to scare someone off
