as the title says I was the winning bidder on an busmaster:cool:

my question is i send them the FFL copy and payment, but when does the 3 day wait period begin? when they recieve my payment? or when it gets to my local gun store?

Thanks

Chad

When you do the paper work for your State, I would think... Meaning, when your FFL receives it...

sadly we do its a 3 day wait without a CCW and im only 18 so no CCW.

and in this cursed county of hell (broward) its a FIVE day wait...stupid anti's.

I agree, It's BS! But, to look at it from the positive side, look what you have to look forward to... It's going to be a long 10 days or so, but I'll bet your in a good mood in aticipation...
If it means anything, I'm envious of your wait...:D

It is major BS though! :cuss:

I agree with Hal8000 said. I believe the wait will start when you fill out the 4473. Just be thankful that will be able to CCW at 21. I am here in IL and I keep reminding others that it is not as bad as it could be.

So you guys in Florida not only have to survive hurricanes, but you also have to deal with waiting periods? Sorry you have to go through that, but at least you aren't in California!

The waiting period mentioned on Gunbroker means that you have 3 days after your FFL receives the firearm to inspect and either accept the gun or refuse the gun.Part of the terms as a seller on GB is that you will allow a 3 day NON-FIRING inspection period to ensure the buyers satisfaction with the product.Your state might also have a waiting period for you to take possession, but your dealer should allow you to inspect it as soon as it gets there,in case the condition was not accurately stated in the auction you won...Good for everybody in the long run...:D

I don't know When your wait starts. That seems to be a silly law.:banghead:
Here in SC, there is no wait.:p
Kramer Krazy bought me a S&W 686 on GunBroker 2 weeks ago. We had the gun in my little hands within a week. I was actually standing in the gun shop while our FFL holder logged the gun into his books. (It turned out to be a really, really nice gun!:) )

everyone thanks for the informative replys.
