Does anyone know where I can find wood boot grips for the Alaskan? I've heard gp100 grips fit or any of the SRH grips as well. Is this true?

The GP100 and Super Redhawk / Alaskans use the same grips.

Anything that fits a GP100 should fit an Alaskan.

That being said I don't think I would want to try to hold on to an Alaskan with full boogie 44Mag loads and a boot grip. 454 or 480 variants would be worse yet.
Follow up shots will be much......much slower.

After having my .454 Alaskan machined to shoot .45acp in full moon clips I installed a set of rubber grips that Ruger use to equip the 3" fixed sight GP100's with.

They are much more compact than anything else that Ruger offered, plus they utilize SP101 inserts. They feel perfect to me and shooting .45LC and .45acp is a dream. Shooting them with .454's...is something for someone else to do.

Boot grips on a .454?
I salute you, sir.
You're a braver man than I.
Either that, or you really, really hate the tendons in your wrists and elbows.
Now, with .45 Colt. That's sweet.
