Right, I'm thinking of getting either the CAI WASR-10/63 from AIM surplus (spefically this one), and I want to know whether my gun will be 922r compliant even if I put in imported steel mags.
I'd also like to have a more general discussion about the WASR-10. My dad wants to get an AK-47. I advised him to fork over an extra 300$ and get the Arsenal SGL-21, but now I'm questioning whether the extra 300$ will be worth it. From what i've heard, there are some reports of WASRs having canted sights and occaisionally jamming, but I've heard lots of reports of WASRs functioning almost flawlessly, and that newer production guns have been better.
What do you guys think: Should my dad save some money and just get the Romy, or should he avoid the risk and just get the Arsenal?
And if the WASR jams, can I send it back to Century for repair work?
