I seen an AK variant at my local gun store not too long ago and it is a .223. it is not a bad price, but I am wondering how many of you would buy such a thing.
I wouldn't, but as someone earlier said I have done the ar in 7.62. I haven't figured out the problem with that one entirely but the firing pin is smaller on the ar and often doesn't set off the primer. It's quite frustrating. I can take them out of the ar and shoot them in any of my ak's and they fire EVERY time.

Get one in 5.45 x 39 and a boatload of ammo if you desire.
