Would you trade your GP100 6" blued .357 for a new Glock .40 Gen 4 model 23

No way. No how. Not today or any other.

Glock's a decent gun, but I don't shoot'em more than about a magazine full before I'm tired of it. Trigger guard rubs against my finger. Hate that. A guy gave my buddy a Glock 17 last year. Just flat gave it to him. I'd take one under those conditions, or if I couldn't get anything else that was decent. The Glock is a good, reliable, rust proof gun. It's a $200-$300 gun that they sell for $550. My opinion, but there it is.

A 6" heavy framed .357 is very versatile. You can hunt, target shoot, put a scope on it and do silhouettes, shoot powder puff .38 Specials on up to extra heavy .357 without any adjustments to the gun, put it in a vertical shoulder holster and carry it under a coat. Very pleasant to shoot all day, and never chase brass, and never miss. Not missing counts for a lot more than a bunch of bullets, since somebody brought up the trigger and home defense. A nice, smooth double action trigger, or a super-sensitive, light single action on the same gun. Gotta love it.
