I have not made up my mind to offer this, but is a Glock 19 with Amriglo NS (4 mo old), 3 15 rnd. mags, Fobus evolution holster, fobus single mag paddle carrier, fobus double mag carrier an equal trade for a S&W Model 60 or 640 .357? The glock looks new and has the box w/ papers.

I really want a model 60/640 .357, but do not have the cash, and won't any time soon. Revolvers have always shot better for me, and I just like them more. So I am asking if you feel this is a good trade? would it be to much to ask for a holster or $ to buy one for the revolver?

Your input is greatly appreciated.

Only you can decide what you are willing to settle for in a trade. If it helps you decide, I can tell you that I bought a new S&W 640 ten years ago for $424.
Bud's lists a new one for $526.

The 640 is a well made little revolver, and I would never part with mine.

For that matter, I would never sell or trade any of my pre-ILS S&Ws. They don't make them any more. You can always get another Glock.

If I were looking for another Glock 19 and had a 640 or 60, I would more than likely consider that trade for a local deal.

If you decide to do it, post it up in the for sale thread for a local trade and see what happens.

Or just start saving and keep your Glock 19 too.

I am not sure I want to trade/sell my G-19. I will have to really think it over first. Thanks for the replies.

G-19

It sounds like you have your Glock set-up very nicely, and pretty much have everything to go with it. I agree with GunNut; keep your Glock and save for the Smith.
