Marwin, I'll take some more & post them so you can really see the engraving.

$1136 for the 1860 is high. Over BB value for NIB. the 1851 is still only slightly over half of what it's worth.

Levi, I posted about finding an unfired stainless Colt 1860 for sale for $400 at a gun show back in 2006 and didn't buy it. I even saved the vendor's phone number just in case someone else wanted to buy it but at the time no one wanted it.
It's like that old saying, "Woulda', shoulda', coulda'!".

Here are my two consecitive 1860s

The 1860 sold for $1136.11 and the 1851 sold for $1026.00.
Those buyers knew what they wanted for Xmas!

at those prices, the 1860 sold above blue book and the 1851 at about 2/3 bluebook. Methinks the 1851 buyer got the best deal.
