Just trying to get a value on a pistol I have as I did look it up in the blue book and it looks to be around $1500 but is it the right price for a new one? I see newer ones that folks want that or more for but could not find something like this on the net.
I do not have a way to post photo's so here is a discription.

It is a type 2 I believe with the tangent sites and no slot in the grips. It is a very nice blue and it is a Nazi pistol. Has the Waffen proofs with it being a W103.

It is new in the original box also. I see allot of them for sale but have never seen a new in the box ww2 one for sale.

thanks jon

New, in the original box, and nice blue??? Doesn't sound like any WWII German occupation HP I've ever seen. If it is, and it was never issued, it would be worth lots, but I am very skeptical. Pics are definitely required for this one, very detailed ones. Can you email pics? If so, I'm sure someone can post them for you.

I do not have a way to take photo's unless I buy a camera but a few folks here that know me can come buy anytime to see it. not sure if I want to keep it as I have way to many pistols. The finish resembles my pre-war brownings so I can see if the only ones you have seen are the rough finish ones. the WA 103 is the rarer version as compared to the common
WA 140 ocupation finish. I had actualy never new they came in box's as this is the first one I have personally seen with the browning flip top cardboard lid. Rather a large box for this pistol.
I sold a few of my pre war contract hi powers to a friend of mine and he wants to look at this one also but he wants my prestine 1941 PPK which I am not interested in getting rid of. Another guy who is in Iraq right now may be interested but I have not told him I have it. he bought a new condition G43 from me last year and is picking up a 1911 colt/savage from me in early august when he gets back. come to think of it I still have those original 30-40 krag bandolleers still sealed setting around he wanted.

A mod here knows me and if he wishes to stop by and take a photo he knows where to find me. actually the mod may be interested in a couple of my model 41 smiths I never use. one is the early one with the loaded chamber indicator its used but comes with the long slim slide with muzzle break and the other one is a early A prefix new in the box with the mags and weight still wrapped.

Well, without pics and better info, you're not going to get a real valid opinion here. I hope someone local can help you. Best of luck.

It turns out the box was wrong but the pistol was 100% correct and was worth more than I thought. Thank you again as I know without pictures its a tough call.

thanks jon
