X-terminator and Hornady fmj 55 gr .223

My go to load for my M&P 15 is 23.6 gr of Ramshot X-terminator with Hornady 55 gr fmjbt on top. Anybody else using this powder and bullet combo?

I use 25gr of AA 2230 which is the same powder as X-T with that bullet in my 5.56 chamber. Accurate list 23.7gr as "Start" for a 5.56 chamber.

LivewireBlanco, I had a pound of X-Terminator in early 2012 and the load I worked up was 24gr with the same bullet. It was right around, or slightly under, a 1MOA load for me in my M&P 15 Sport.

It's a very accurate load for me but very little data on ramshot powders.

fyi, xterminator is exactly the same as aa2230.

Exactly as in the exact same powder in a different bottle. They are both distributed by Western Powders. AA 2230 and X-T have been identical since 2007.

I've been using 23.0gr Ext. with a 55gr hornady soft point with pretty good results in my 16" bushmaster.

I use 24.2 grn of xterm under a 50 grn dogtown bullet. Jake, thanks for the tip. I wish there was a list somewhere of same powders with different labels. (if there is will somebody point me to it?)

I use 25.2 x-term and 55 grain sierra game king hpbt results in 3/4 inch groups... it's my favorite load

Has anybody used them on Midway's 55 gr Dogtown bullets, or a similar HP bullet with a flat base?

I used xterm with midsouth's varmint nightmare 55grn soft point flat base, but my rifle didn't like 55's much with any powder so I sold them.

with the 50 grn dogtowns I shoot about 1/2-3/4" with xterm.

1:12 maybe? I can't recall exactly. It's been a while since tested it. it's slow. It's a zastava mini-mauser.
