XD/ XD M Replacement sights

Ok I have a few Questions here about the sights on XD's & XD M's

1. Are XD and XD M sights interchangeable?

2. Any suggestions on good night sights?

3. Are they hard to replace yourself? (I have heard some rumors about them very difficult to remove)

4. Does anyone have any experience using Sure Sights? (They are definately different, but I almost want to buy em to try em... http://www.suresight.com)

I just bought an XD 9mm and I'm anxious to hear the answer on this too.
I saw that there was a model that came with night sights but I wanted to see what other options I have. Those Sure Sight's look awesome.

I can answer 1 and 3.

1. Yes they are the same.

3. Many say have a gunsmith do it. I know I had to drift a rear sight (theoretically the easier one to do) on a XD45 and I bent the crap out of one brass drift and had to go to the next size before it budged.

i know from experince that the xd sights are hard to remove, i tried to change mine and i couldn't get the factory out. I had my gun smith do it, i guess he had no issue.

as far as good night sights, IMHO there is no better sights for defense on the market than the xs 24/7 night sights. that is what i have on my xd.

I've read in the past the XD uses the same sight cut as the Sig pistols. You can buy all manner of night sights for the Sigs and you can even buy Sig take offs from CDNN very cheaply.
