XDM 40 subcompact remorse and XDM 9 failures

Alright, I did something shameful. I sold my XDM 40, that ran flawlessly, felt great in my hand, and I could shoot it very well! It was an awesome carry piece. I sold it for a 44 magnum that I have no regrets purchasing however the XDM filled a niche for me that only an XDM can fill I've decided.

Now I know some of you will say you never sell any gun for this reason, which is fine, I wish I could be in that club but if I want to stay married I have to sell one before I can buy another one.

So my conclusion is to get another XDM but this time I want to get it in 9mm but I have one question. Will the XDM 9 fail when limp wristing?

One of the first things I do when I get a new pistol is make sure it will cycle even when limp-wristing (I read an article about a guy that got shot in his forearm and could not grip his pistol fully causing it to FTE so now I make sure all mine will cycle with just a trigger pull)

For anyone curious I could not get the XDM40 subcompact to fail in anyway, limp wristing included.

Since I got my XDM 9 a couple months back I've put a pretty large number of rounds through it with no malfunctions. I tried "limp wristing" and still couldn't get it to fail.

In my experience at least, the XDM 4.5" in 9mm has been perfectly reliable even when specifically trying to induce limp wrist type malfunctions.

I have an xdm 9mm in 3.8. It's a great pistol. The magazines are hard to load relative to my other pistols, but it's a wonderful shooter. Never a problem.

How accurately can you shoot a gun while limp wristing it? Why would one judge the reliability of a hand gun based on how it does when you don't correctly hold it?

Because in real situations you may have to fire you weapon with less than ideal grip or an injured hand. If your weapon is only reliable when held a certain way its probably not as good as a defensive weapon.
