Being a 1911 guy, I was always of the mind set that I would never own a tupperware gun but I bought an XDm 45 and it has been a great carry piece. I have a review of the XDm 45 for those interested here: http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=530619.
When the XDm came out I saw no reason to buy a 45 XD when they were sure to "eventually" make one in 45. So, I waited for them to make a 45 in XDm rather than but one in .40 S&W or 9mm.
Well, now Springer has released the XDm Compact. It looks like I'll need another piece of combat tupperware. The question is can I be patient twice or will I wind up buying a the 9mm version?
