Xtreme bullets processing/shipping times?

Anyone have any idea on the time it usually takes xtreme to get an order out?

Not ranting on them at all, but I ordered some bullets in the beginning of may, and it still apparently "processing." All of the stuff I ordered was in stock as well.

I suppose they might have gotten a ton of orders in on that free shipping and 10% off they had and they're super backed up.

Got an event coming up on the 28th, and was really hoping I'd have seen them by now.
 
I ordered on May 1st, the first day of the 20% off sale. Although I was in no rush for them, I wondered what was up when I got no email regarding shipping and time went on. I got them a little over 2 weeks after ordering.
 
I ordered in the middle of the 20% off sale, and they are on the way and are supposed to be delivered Tuesday (I'm on the other side of the country).

That is even a little slower than usual; I'm sure they were swamped with orders on the 20% off everything sale.

They are never fast on shipping though... but they are cheaper than everyone else making a similar product.

I know some people have had consistency issues with them in terms of diameter, but, I've shot 10s of thousands of them in 9mm and .40 and never had a problem.

Personally I'll take cheap price with cheap but slow shipping any day of the week over expensive and fast on bullets.

If you wait to order bullets so long that you need them tomorrow, you are doing in wrong, in my opinion... ymmv though.

Early May till now sounds like a long time; maybe give them one call just to make sure there are no issues.
 
I also ordered May 2nd and received my bullets yesterday. 14 business days. I think they have a good product, the HP bullets have always been very accurate fro me.

You just have to learn to be patient with them.

My first order, which was in mid-April, only took 5 days to get to my door.
 
I placed an order with them in April and it was at least 2-3 weeks before my order was processed. Shipping was fast but, yeah, I started wondering what the heck was going on.
 
Same here. Iirc, they have a line on their home page saying to expect delays.

On top of that, I had ordered some brass from Starline. Hadn't heard anything for about a week so I emailed them to ask for status. They replied that because I'm in MA, I need to photocopy my carry license, sign it in blue ink, and mail it out to them. It's been going on two weeks since I placed the order and still nothing
 
Boy. When I lived in the Bay Area I could depend on the order arriving by the afternoon of the second day after the order. Like bloody clockwork.

I did make an order on a free shipping day, but cannot remember how long that took for delivery.

Well, keep those orders going. I want to be sure that they are making enough profit to be there when I next order. :D
 
I think they (xtreme) must be really struggling with the results of the 20% sale. I received my second order today. It came in a non standard boxes, no xtreme labeling like normal and the two 500 round boxes came in previously used boxes cut to fit the primary boxes. The main thing they are shipping product. It really was a good price, even having to wait for them.

Yeah, life in the Peoples Republic. Ammo possession without a license is illegal. Components are treated the same as ammo. Technically, the way the law is written a spent 22lr case jammed in the tread of an unlicensed persons boot could get them jammed up. Ive never heard of that happening, but legally its possible if the DA was enough of an ass.
 
I spoke with Xtreme on Thursday 19-May, about an order placed on 8-May. I was informed that as of 19-May, they were working on shipping orders from 3-May.

The 20% off sale set them WAY back. . .

Some IFS with them. Normal proceesing depends on what day they ship for where you are at. Yes they had a big sale, so recovery time could take awhile, don't think they actually had the stock to begin with or serious management failure to plan for influx of orders, 3 weeks for mine from order to door with 2 emails to CS, unanswered, then finally phone call with results.
Normally, IF the shipping department is on the job, IF they acutally have the stock, process completes on a Friday, no matter what day I order. I can never get it shipped any other day than a friday, which probably has something to do with the flat rate.
UPS varies between monday delivery (pretty damm good) but lately they have been having "delays" so usually extends a couple more days.

As has been discussed already here, they got hammered with orders! I sure hope they raised the desired $$ in that sale!

I ordered over multiple days, starting with the first day of the sale, and my orders have just trickled in over the last day or two!

I also noticed, the last boxes I received were plain white, no branding/logo/printing on them whatsoever! I wonder if they ran out of boxes???

I'm still waiting on the last order I placed, which was a few weeks ago...
 
Ordered 1500 bullets on May 2, arrived May 19. One of the 3 boxes was a plain, white box. I wasn't low on bullets, so for 20% off on bullets that I would have bought anyway, I didn't mind the wait... nor the box.
 
My guess is that with such a good sale they got swamped. Usually they are quick and you have your order within 3-4 days. I ordered some on this sale on 05/04/16, and will get them according to the notice on 05/24/16. So yeah the sale slowed them down.
 
I ordered on the 2nd day I think and just got them Friday. For the price I didn't mind the wait.
 
Some information I received..

1. The facility was not aware that corporate published the sale until the emails were sent.

2. There was no ramp up for the sale prior to the emails.

3. They apparently are working overtime and on the weekends to fill the demand.

4. There are a TON of orders.

I placed my order early on the 2nd and received my order on the 19th. Be patient you will get yours..
 
I guess by now everyone is aware X-Treme is behind in shipping due to the 20% off sale. Critiquing their management is a waste of time. I am tired of deleting posts that are off topic, so this one is done.

I bet next time around it hurts sales. Or maybe folks will figure the deal is worth a wait. Dunno, cause I don't have a crystal ball. :)
