hello.

yesterday i went to one gunstore to get some ammo... and i was looking at some lowers to start a new project when the owner showed a complete Yankee Hill Machine YHM-15 Lower for $250.00. I only had like $220.00 on me because "i was looking for just a striped lower & some ammo" so i told the guy straight up that it was over my budget at the time, so he looked at me and say that i could have it for $200.00 because i'm a regular customer, and i didn't think twice the offert and for $214.00 i walk out the door with a Complete YHM-15 Lower. I don't know about you guys but i think he really get me a good deal and i thank him for that, i think it's a very good price but i would like to hear from you guys.

BTW: i just installed my CMMG upper to test the lower and the fit is perfect without any play between the upper and lower.

I know YHM has a good reputation, but $200 seems like a lot for a stripped lower.

EDIT: I need remedial reading classes, I see it was a complete lower. I think you did well.

I've wanted to look at one in person before purchasing. What dealer in Florida did you go to that actually has them in stock?

Seems like YHM gets ragged on quite a bit. They may not be the best available, but I think they make good stuff. Just because they offer a product at a fair price, it doesn't mean it is poor quality. I think you did well.

:)

I built my last two rifles with YHM upper receivers, no complaints, they seem to be of high quality.

I agree. I like YHM's stuff. Everything I've bought from them is absolutely top shelf quality.

I had no idea they made lowers.

where do you live? the dealer is in North Miami.

Go figure. I'm in Polk County, near Lakeland.
