Yay! Just got my G17 full-caps...no LEO markings!?

I'm happy to finally get my order from Top Glock (sans the 31 round G33 mag -- a special note inside said it would be shipped separately when it became availible). They appear to be brand new factory mags, without the LEO markings on them. I was under the impression that all the new full cap glock mags for sale would be the formerly LEO mags until big shipments of the unmarked mags made it accross the pond. Just another gun shop rumor, I guess.

I can't wait to try these out -- hopefully tomorrow, if I can convince my wife to go to the range. She's been eying my G17 anyway, and asking "hey, can this be my gun?" so it shouldn't take a whole lot of convincing. And if it does end up her gun? Hey, it'll be a good "reason" to pick up a CZ75 and some full-caps for it....

BTW, my order was placed on the 7th, made it here on the 17th, so Top Glock seems to be doing a pretty good job, at least with the G17 mags.

I'd still like a "LEO" mag as a momento -- maybe they'll have 'em at the next show in Raleigh?

Picked up my brand new non-marked 15 rounders! Freedom mags @ regular price! The guy that sells AR's close to the front should have a ton of the marked ones @ the next show.

I LIKE the ones with LEO markings. It gives me a smug sense of pleasure to hold handful of mags that were illegal a month or so ago. It also gives me hope that it could happen again with other gun related items... (small hope--but still hope.)

Conan, assuming you are talking about the show in Raleigh, I think I know who you're talking about. (Do those guys buy positions for life? It does make finding things at the show a lot easier if you've been there before.) I didn't know he carried that sort of thing -- or are you talking about AR full caps?

I've checked CDNN, they don't even have G20 High caps listed. I'm guessing that means they don't have any:banghead:

I am pretty sure they had some the day I first saw the other mags, the stuff was removed from the web listing pretty fast. People out there are vultures, like me!

Glock & AR full caps, had 50 plus glock mags, but the vast majority were always "marked" mags. Drove me crazy to look @ neet rows of brand new "marked" ones.


BTW Chris, when is the next Raleigh show?
