Yellow Box Rem. UMC - yuck

Is 9mm yellow box of different standards than the .45acp? I ran through 250 rounds of the .45 in my Kimber without a hiccup.

I bought a box of yellow/.45 and I kid you not, it must have sat for about four months or so. I didn't have a .45 at the time. I bought my taurus pt-1911ss, and blew the entire box on the gun. NEVER FTF, FTE. Accurate.

I haven't bought any of that stuff either lately. Mostly because it actually costs more compared to WWB. But it was a UMC that caused the only feed issue i've ever had in my Gold Cup. Rim was paper thin and the extractor pulled right through it.

I have had very good results from WWB from Gander Mountain, and Remington Green box from Dick's. I had problems with Remington/UMC Yellow box in the past and never bought any after that.

The last two boxes of 357 Mag I bought worked fine, but then they didn't have to cycle a slide.
