You can only own ONE 9mm handgun.

And to go even further, let's say that's the only gun you have. A majority of ccp holders around here are like this..one gun - purely for personal/family protection, and that's it. I don't want to start a fight between anyone here, just want a healthy discussion of what your ONE choice for a 9mm would be.


I'll start things off by saying I'd probably have to go with a Glock 17. I almost said an XD-M, but I think (for me at least) the Glock would be easier to take down, maintain and upgrade if need be.

Well, considering that I would never own a 9mm luger; does a 9mm Makarov count? If so, I like my CZ-82; even my PA-63. If that doesn't count, then I don't have an answer because I don't have a luger.

At this point, probably my S&W M&P 9c. I love it that much. Just a sweet shooter. Of course, I wouldn't kick my Gray Guns massaged Sig P228 out of bed either.

Guess what, I did this and ended up selecting the Glock 17 over it's competitors after some serious research. The CZ handguns, the S&W M&P, the BHP, and the Sigs were also serious competitors and I would have no problems going with them.

I'm pleased with my choice.
